Rwanda is called “The Land of a Thousand Hills” due to its high elevation. It is dominated by mountains and lakes throughout the country. The History, Culture, Landscape, Human Rights are best left to the quiet wind. It blows around you like a blanket that smells of Eucalyptus, Earth, Salt, Mud, Tea Leaves, Bamboo, Sand, a hint of Honey and a whisper of Ancestry and Hope. I was a mere visitor, trying in my own way to capture the lingering last note of that sweet perfume before I had to depart.
